I have a passion for all animals whether they’re a Champion in the ring or in the streets. If I have the time and funds for fostering, I definitely lend a hand to those unfortunate souls and transform them into a loving pet for a lucky home.
Monroe is a neutered red liver brindle Shih Tzu who weighs 13.6 lb., current on vaccines, is heart worm negative, and heart worm preventative as well as flea preventative.
He had an injury during his ordeal (was stolen from his owner before he turned a year old, was living in a bad home after that, and I found him last winter after he was found on the streets in poor health). He has a limp on his hind left leg from possibly being hit by a car when he was younger (vet said when he’s older it may cause arthritis), but that doesn’t stop him!
He is playful, loving, never barks, and is such a sweetheart. He needs a forever home that understands his potential future medical needs (which honestly isn’t uncommon since all pets eventually get arthritis at an old age).
